"You can google Mr. Bell."
A 17-year old Wisconsin high school student took to twitter recently to ask Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell if he'd go to prom with her for 500 retweets.
Le'Veon responded almost instantly.

Ava Tarantino's tweet quickly received over 2,000 retweets and Le'Veon intended to keep his promise, but the school is banning him from the prom.
According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Annysa Johnson, Le'Veon is "barred from the dance itself, according to district policy, because he is too old and was once busted for possession of marijuana and driving under the influence."
"You can Google Mr. Bell," spokeswoman Terry Schuster told Annysa Johnson of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, likely alluding to his history of suspensions.
Despite the fact that Le'Veon is barred from the actual dance, Ava's father is still hopeful they can work something out, and thinks the school district could use this opportunity to show students that hard work leads to success, negative actions have consequences, and that sometimes there are second chances.
Per Annysa Johnson,
"But I think, in this case, he's a celebrity. He's not her date," Jim Tarantino said. "And I think the fact that he's agreed to do this and to bring his family, speaks very highly of who he is as a person."
"Everyone makes mistakes; we all do," said Jim Tarantino.
"I'm hoping we can come to something that would be beneficial for everybody."
