Vic Mensa avoided some jail time over a loaded gun charge he landed back in March, when he was stopped by police while carrying a loaded gun in his car. Now, TMZ reports that Vic plead no contest and got sentenced with two years probation as a result. Apparently, he was risking two years in jail, but instead, all he has to do is pay $500. The alternative to said payment is spending two days in jail, so it's hard to see why he wouldn't choose payment.

Vic will also have to pay an additional $1325 in restitution, which shouldn't be a problem as his upcoming album The Autobiography drops July 28th.
